Published by CME Webmaster on December 16, 2016

EDMONTON (December 16, 2016) - Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters (CME) has released its top-14 list of made-in-Alberta holiday treats and the results are...delicious.

The list highlights 14 fantastic companies that use locally-sourced materials, ingredients, and ingenuity to make products that should be celebrated under the tree or on the Christmas dinner table. Plans originally called for just 10, but CME judges just couldn't stop there.

"Alberta is lucky to have so many terrific, locally-made products," said CME Alberta Vice President David MacLean. "From our exploding craft brewing industry to the beautiful Smithbilt Hats and delicious Stawnichy's Mundare Sausage, Alberta entrepreneurs have something to offer everyone on your Christmas list. It makes it very easy for consumers to make this a "Very Alberta Christmas."
